Description: I’ve been holding onto this for about a year, and it’s easily one of the best things I acquired in said year. I’d guess it dates from the late 80s to early/mid 90s based on the shoulder padding, jacket length and proportion of jacket to skirt. Both pieces are unlined. Construction is fantastic. Armholes on jacket are ribbon bound at the interior seam. Neiman Marcus label present on inside of pocket (inside the jacket, not inside the pocket.) Jacket has contrasting ivory tone buttons and hidden snaps for placket neatness, matching pencil skirt has center back zipper.
Condition: Very good vintage/previously owned condition. No fabric content label I could see, but feels like wool “moss crepe.” No issues noted.
Measurements: Size small based on measurements and the way it fits my mannequin. Jacket measures 15 inches across shoulders from seam to seam; 17 inches across bust from underarm to underarm; 15 inches across at the waist, about 14.5 inches below shoulder; 19 inches across at the hip; 20.5 inches across at the hem; 26 inches long at side of body/26.5 inches long at center back with 22-inch sleeves measured from shoulder seam. Skirt measures 13 inches across at the waist; 17 inches across at waist and at hem; 19 inches long measured at center front.
