Description: It's well-documented fact that I'm obsessed with coats. Chicago requires at least a light jacket, if not a full-strength winter coat, for over half the year and one quickly gets bored wearing the same old thing over and over. But An Ren coats are NEVER boring. Yes, they keep you warm, but look at all these fantastic whimsical details like the contrasting rayon/wool fabrics, portrait collar, belled three-quarter sleeves and cheerful contrast buttons! Even the lining is like a fun little secret. You wouldn't look at that jacket from the outside and expect the lining to be hot pink, would you? But it is!
This listing is for the coat only. Other items shown are for inspiration only and are not included. Sweater is available here and skirt is available here.
Condition: Very good previously owned condition. The fabric is a little bit fuzzy in places and it's hard to tell if it's a sign of wear or if it's just the nature of the fabric (which is, after all, a rayon/wool blend.) Also worth mentioning: there's some kind of plastic lining to the base of the collar (for reinforcing the shape) that makes a crinkling noise when you touch it.
Measurements: Size S measures 17.5 inches across bust from underarm to underarm; 15 inches across at the waist; 20 inches across at the hem; 22 inches long at side of body and 23 inches at center back measured from top of collar. Sleeves are 17 inches long measured from shoulder seam.
